Audrey Adair is a freelance communications consultant and business advisor who had the idea for The Scope after about a hundred different people asked her the same exact question, “How do I do what you do?”
It seemed that since Audrey started her freelance journey in 2014, not only did the demand for more independent talent rise, so did the interest to become more independent.
A recent study predicts that the majority of the U.S. workforce will be freelance within the next decade, with 50% of current millennial workers already freelancing (that’s Audrey). With this many people interested in trading in the comforts of a 9-to-5 for a more autonomous work life, she saw the need to provide this community (we call them the Scope Force) with the resources and know-how she and other independent hustlers have acquired to confidently step into the career of their dreams.
