Time To Check-In On Your Freelance Goals (Free Download)

We’re half way through 2019… Say what?

With summer being a slower period for many freelancers, it’s also a great time to check-in on those goals you set for yourself at the start of the year.

Forgot about those, didn’t ya?

Whether it’s your first or tenth year as a freelancer, we all set goals for our business.

Maybe you had a number of clients you hoped to secure…

Or planned to invest in a course to learn a new skill you can provide your clients…

Maybe your goal was something as simple as: Make more money.

Whatever the goal, no matter how big or small, it’s time to check-in, assess and get back on track.

To help, I created a new Freelancer Freebie to help you conquer your goals: The Freelancer Goal Assessment worksheet. Click the button below to download the worksheet, print it and follow the steps to get your goals back on track.

Let’s reflect

Once you have the worksheet in front of you, start by reflecting on the goal you set for your freelance business at the start of the year. Remember why you made that goal and think on what you’ve done so far to try and reach it. Maybe you’re well on your way, maybe you haven’t even taken the first step.

Wherever you are, use this worksheet to help get yourself back on track and headed in a forward direction.

To pivot or not to pivot?

Once you’ve reflected on your goal, it’s time to make a choice: Do I continue pursuing this goal or is it time to change directions?

The important thing to remember with goals, especially in business, is to acknowledge when it’s time to pivot.

Pivoting doesn’t mean you’ve failed. It just means the original goal isn’t in the direction you’re heading now; you’ve changed your course and that’s OK.

Make a plan of action

Now that you’ve reflected and decided what direction you’re heading in, it’s time to put together a new plan of action.

The best way to approach a goal is to put together a sequence of micro-goals that help you not only inch closer and closer to your bigger vision, but also celebrate tiny victories along the way.

In order to make progress it’s important to see progress and this fun freebie will help you put a plan in place to help not only make progress, but ultimately reach your goal.
